Seemingly overnight, the Coronavirus pandemic has changed how many businesses operate. Virtually every organization has had to adapt on-the-fly to a historic and unusual market.

Even with Michigan under one of the strictest lockdowns in the country, RJ Stacey is proud to be running at full steam. Our team has been moving mountains to adapt to the current situation and bolster our ability to serve our customers safely.

“It’s been tough to watch as our community, state and country is battered by the pandemic and economic slump. We can’t control the situation, but we can control how we respond. We’re choosing to focus on continuous improvement and are very grateful to have the opportunity to serve our customers through this difficult time.” – Ryan Stacey, President

Safety is the True Sign of Professionalism

In everything we do, safety is paramount. While we have always emphasized safety in our operations, we are now exercising an abundance of caution to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Toward that end, we have taken a number of measures to ensure the safety of everyone involved in our pipeline services. All employees have attended COVID-19 training as part of our federally mandated operator qualification program for critical infrastructure workers. We have implemented all recommendations of the Federal Training program, including supplying N95 masks to employees, maintaining social distancing, isolating employees into seperate teams, monitoring for fever and other symptoms, and performing tasks remotely whenever possible. Additionally, we have staggered schedules to limit exposure between workers.

Whether it’s a gas hazard or a virus, we take no chances when it comes to safety. RJ Stacey is committed to protecting our teams, our clients, and our community from this disease.

We Never Stop

While many businesses have been forced to slow or shut down operations, we are making the most of this time so that we can continue to deliver the best possible service to customers. We have made sure to keep all of our employees on active payroll with a heavy focus on continuous improvement.

Our team has been developing skills in the Federal API-operator certifications, including technical bolting, ultrasound testing, valve inspections/repairs, as well as purge and bypass administration training. All field personnel who were not yet qualified have been certified for full federal OQ tapping/line stopping mechanic status.

We’ve also conducted safety training through April 2020, which includes refresher courses on fall protection, LOTO, respirator/gas hazards, and confined spaces.

We Launched Our New Website
